Powertrain Warranty

The Powertrain Warranty plan is designed for vehicles with up to 125,000 miles. When your vehicle has a significant amount of miles, make the smart choice and protect it against major part and component breakdowns.

Coverage

Air Conditioner
Condenser, compressor, evaporator, expansion valve, and blower motor. The following Components are also covered if required in connection with the repair of a listed Covered Component: accumulator/receiver dryer and orifice tube.
Cooling System
Engine cooling fan and motor, water pump, and fan clutch
Drive Axle
All internally lubricated Components contained within the drive axle housing, plus the following: locking hubs, drive shafts, center support bearings, universal joints, constant velocity joints (except when damaged as a result of a torn or missing CV boot). Drive axle housing and differential cover are covered only if damaged by failure of a covered internally lubricated drive axle Component.
Electrical
Alternator, voltage regulator, starter motor, starter solenoid, ignition switch, front and rear window wiper motor and switch, washer pump and switch, headlamp switch, turn signal switch, rear defogger switch, heater/A.C. blower speed switch, power window motor and switch, power door lock actuator and switch.
Engine
All internal Components of the engine that require lubrication for operation. Oil pump, harmonic balancer, engine block, cylinder heads, oil pan, and timing chain cover are also covered only if damaged by failure of a covered internally lubricated engine Component.
Fuel System
Fuel delivery pump, fuel injection pump, and metal fuel delivery lines
Seals and Gaskets
Seals and Gaskets are covered only in conjunction with a covered component repair. Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered and stand-alone seals or gaskets failures are not covered.
Transfer Case
(4x4 vehicles only) All internal Components of the transfer case that require lubrication for operation.
Transmission
All internal Components of the transmission that require lubrication fro operation. Torque converter, vacuum modulator, accumulator, electronic shift control unit, transmission case, and oil pan are covered only if damaged by failure of a covered internally lubricated transmission Component.

Features & Benefits

These additional benefits are offered to you at no additional cost:

  • Towing: In the event of a mechanical Breakdown caused by a part covered by this Agreement; We will reimburse You for reasonable towing charges up to eighty dollars ($80) per occurrence. Any reimbursement shall be for actual towing charges in excess of any reimbursement You receive from the manufacturer, road club, or insurance company.
  • Mechanical breakdown rental car benefit: DDuring the time when your vehicle is being repaired at an authorized repair facility for the failure of a covered part, you may qualify for rental car reimbursement of up to $30 per day, with a 5-day maximum, not to exceed $150 per occurrence. Vehicle must be rented from the dealer or from a licensed auto rental facility. Rental car reimbursement will not continue beyond the day that repairs are completed and you are notified of the completion.
  • Roadside Service: Coverage of up to eighty dollars ($80) on the following; Change a flat tire on your covered vehicle with your inflated spare tire; attempt to start your vehicle with a battery booster cable; attempt to open your vehicle with your keys locked inside; deliver an emergency supply of fuel, oil, or coolant (cost of these fluids are your responsibility).
